My Hop
Books can really leave a mark in our lives. To read what that book is in my life, come visit me at Clandestine Sanctuary.
ReplyDeleteDropping by via the hop. new follower. Have a great weekend!
That is a great lesson to learn while you're still young. I do my best to appreciate each day, and I have to say it's enhanced my life a great deal over the years. I honestly believe it has left me with fewer regrets.
ReplyDeleteIvan, what an excellent and thought-provoking question you submitted for the Book Blogger Hop! Thank you! I've added my link to the hop list and do hope you stop by ro see my answer at Ruthi Reads!
ReplyDeleteNever thought of The Graveyard Book that way. Interesting
ReplyDeleteThe Graveyard Book is a good one. Just re-read it myself over the holiday. I don't have a single book to point to. Come by and see why.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower by the way.
Congrats on the great question.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!!

Thank you all for your kind comments. I appreciate it a lot!
ReplyDeleteThis will probably come of something as a surprise but the book that changed/influenced my life (more than any other) is a non-fiction book. I know we all focus on novels and the fanciful fiction we love to read but The Four Work Week is the book that gets all the credit. I know the title sounds fictional but it really isn’t. Hop over to my blog and find out why – http://www.howardsherman.net
ReplyDeleteHappy Book Blogger Hop Day!

I keep meaning to read The Graveyard Book. I've only read Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. Now I know I need to read more. Thanks for the great post. We're new followers to your site. :)
ReplyDeleteIvan,
ReplyDeleteYour answer dazzles me... and definitely has me wanting to search for this book. Thanks so much for asking us bloggers such a great question! I really enjoyed mulling over that one... I mean, reading should hit home with The Reader in some way, am I right? It's so nice to see books actually impact people in huge ways!

Hopping through. I loved The Graveyard Book! Neil Gaiman is great.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
My Hop
Very well thought out answer! Your description of the book makes me want to move it up on my 'to read' list.
ReplyDeleteI ended up choosing Twilight because it was one of the first books that I interacted with strangers about. (More on my blog!)
Have a good week!
